re: Ann: AngloGold Decision on Rover 1 Clawba... Anyone, any idea wether Anglo is a fast or slow mover. Andy mentioned that the size of deposit Anglo is usually interested is around the 5M oz range. If this was so then would Anglo move fast or slow. For what it's worth that would still be 1.25 m oz to us plus the extra expenditure money. It's going to be interesting. What is also interesting is wether Adelaide finds anything else on their side of the fence? If they don't then they probably don't have enough to warrant a stand alone mine. The problem then would be they either sell their side to us or some agreement to share mining costs. If their side is uneconomic then interesting times. Andy says the bulk is on our side. Very hard to finance a 1/4 of a mine.
