This is known as "Technical Trading" as is akin to Phrenology, Leeching, and climate change science.
The price will fluctuate between certain limits of say 0.5% apart...the Bollinger Bands. Buy and sell 20 times and you will make money. (1.005)^20 is a 10% return, just like compound interest but faster. Sounds good, but doesn't always work that way.
