I have been watching land line to lately. Interesting the week before about the mouse plague on the west coast of SA. Mice are doing a lot of damage so the farmers have to poison them to ( try ) and stop the damage to crops and fodder ect so they use wheat treated with a poison ( zinc phosphide ). This is the only broad acre poison aviable. The cost is enormous. Wheat that they sell for about $200 a tonne is treated Zinc phosphide and comes out the other end with a price of $10,000 a tonne.
