If the shareprice only falls to 98c to $1 that means for a $1.35 or $1.36 purchase cost today you receive 98c-$1.00 on sale of shares tomorrow + 55c dividend (distributed 23 July) + 23.57c franking credit (total value $1.7657-$1.7857).

I would be surprised (and delighted) if this happens.

I have a sneaking suspicion the shareprice was being capped (don't know why) in run up to the ex-dividend date and that tomorrow it may only fall the value of the dividend (without also falling by an amount for the franking credits).

i.e. Despite my earlier post I have a suspicion JRL may only fall to around 80c.
