acceptance of blood test in australia

Just had my annual blood test, and as usual I always ask about the new blood TB test, three years ago there was skant to no knowledge of it, subsequent years the nurse vaguely knew about the test.

This year I asked about the TB test and the nurse said ?you mean the Quantiferon blood test, we all have to have this as Health Care workers, we are very familiar with this, it?s more accurate and trusted than the skin test?.

My crude research tells me that even in Australia the wheel is turning slowly but surely.

This is one of the criteria used by Peter Lynch (One up on Wall Street) in choosing stocks for his successful Magellan Fund in the 90's, remember this is just my observation over the past three years.
