estseon:You might be right, but you mentioned the possible worth of the company.Let's assume the lower 188 cents. The difference is staggering and there is a motza to be made by AWE if it only pays 40cents.The amounts involved just using the 112million shares and ignoring the AWE holding is large even for some of the bigger U.S. companies. If hilcorp proves gunshy I'm sure some of the larger companies drilling the Eagleford won't be . So far AWE has 0 shares. There have been no sales at 40 cents. Already it is clear they will need to increase their offer. The value is so obvious ,I feel ( hope ) an offer is still possible from the US. This is possibly the only way we can get fair value and if necessary the ADI directors could go looking for a better offer. If this doesn't happen we might be lucky if we get 50 cents. Sushi1 is usually on the ball but all of us have to move on.Directors included. Funds were raised at 26 cents and an offer has been made at 40 cents. We can't change that.No use pointing fingers now. It's too late!A good result from Rancho will help our cause!
IMO if the directors want to remain they will need to convince the shareholders to hold or if AWE looks like winning they need to aggressively market the value of ADI in the U.S.If not, we'll be lucky to get 50cents! My average is about 23cents so 40 to me is a good profit , but I'm aware many shareholders have much higher averages and will be looking at a loss.
