Not one share has gone to AWE so far. Once they have made their on market bid they cannot buy at a higher price wothout offering the price to other holders. This is my understanding. A check with course of sales shows no sales at 40 cents. In my experience of being involved in other takeovers I don't think the share price has risen strongly enough to beat a sustained bid from AWE. A lot of sales today have been an arbitage play by people expecting a higher bid with limited downside. Once it becomes apparent no higher bid is coming they will sell to AWE. I hold AWE
