The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has voted to create a large trader reporting system.

One small step by the USA SEC in the right direction.

A large trader reporting system would:

    - Identify large market participants
    - Collect information on their trades
    - Assign them a unique trackable number
    - Analyze their trading activity
    - Ban on marketable flash orders
    - Transparency for dark pools of liquidity
    - Prohibit unfiltered access to markets
    and other controls....

The United States government has begun to recognize
that Algorithmic trading needs to be controlled,
why else are they recommending these changes,
even though the changes hardly go far enough.

It is now becoming an issue in the USA finally, enough to warrant some government intervention, activity that our politicians should become aware of.
