Historically DDT has not lived up to its promise granted. Management has however been totally revamped and the company revitalised (thus the share issue at 1c a while back - instead of whinging maybe some of you should have participated - you wouldnt be whinging now).

And this auto spray system that bigdotdog is talking about is but just one application of DDT (which still brings them in decent revenues ($5mill for the half year, up 28% from the corresponding previous year). The latest announcement is a totally new application which shows the flexibility and far-reaching potential of DDT technology.

As for margins being low, sure, they are low, but as an example, how many metres of carpet would you expect to sell, one or two a month? Of course not. As the latest announcement states, in the US alone, if the sales of wool carpet were to go up from 2% to 3% it would use up NZ entrie stron wool-clip production.

No arguing, the history of DDT has been very disappointing. Right now though, as a speculative company, producing profits which are increasing, and with new uses of their technology being signed up, and a marketcap of around just $13mill, the future to me looks quite bright.
