spectacular drilling results, page-7

just introducing myself, bought into CHN today after reading up on the company and obviously had my eye on it after the recent releases, some very nice grades, perhaps should have got in a day or 2 earlier but there certainly seems to be scope for some nice profits here.

just a couple of observations, since the announcement of the private placement on 16/3/10 for 20 million shares the sp has gone from 37.5c to 52.5c, most unusual and the price has gone up from close of 40c on 30/12/09, the last time you could buy shares before the shares were placed to 52.5c in just 3 trading days, even more unusual, doesnt seem to be any selling of the placement shares yet, although 2.75 million shares have been traded in those 3 days.

what do you guys reckon, will these placement shares wash through over a period of time, will they let the SP go a bit then hammer it down, or perhaps they are holding, whats peoples thoughts, just very suprised with the SP increase on the release of new shares.

also noticed no one really discussed the announcement about the option granted to purchase Dragon Minings interest. the announcment was on 3/3/10, the next post was on 15/3/10 regarding a trading halt, you guys dont talk much do you?
This announcement was released by Dragon Mining not Chalice, thought Chalice would release an announcement regarding this themselves. This is an option to purchase only and with less than 3 months till the expiry date of the option, do shareholders need to know the course we plan to take here.

Are management waiting for further resource upgrades and new drilling results before this is mentioned, will share holders get a vote in regards to this or will CHN just release an announcement to say the option has been excersised or not. An $8 million price tag to be paid by june 2011, a capital raising of some magnitude will be required, depending on the SP at the time, do most holders want 100% ownership of this project? Is $8 mill a small price to pay??
