Team, anyone still holding EZE, et al. If you would like a little cheering up I suggest you visit the Forte Energy website and have a troll through their recent announcements. They are nearing a maiden JORC resource for their Bir En Nar Uranium Project. Of particular interest to EZE holders are the outstanding results of drilling thus far and further more, the last sentence of the following synopsis:

    ASX, AIM and Media Release
    23 February 2010

"Outstanding high-grade assay results from recently completed resource drilling at
BIR EN NAR Uranium Project, Mauritania West Africa, including:
    o 16m @ 1,617ppm U incl. 8m @ 2,470ppm U
    o 5m @ 2,326ppm U incl. 1m @ 4,890ppm U
    o 4m @ 1,711ppm U incl. 1m @ 4,410ppm U
    o 5m @ 1,038ppm U incl. 1m @ 1,870ppm U
Results continue to show significant mineralisation with high-grade intercepts of
    U3O8 recorded further assays awaited
Preparation of initial JORC Code-compliant resource for Bir En Nar Project on
track to be finalised by 31 March 2010
New program of RC drilling commences on the first of 11 selected prospects at Bir
    Moghrein, Mauritania"

EZE will potentially hold (may do so already) a significant licence via Ghazal for two exploration licences, EL276 (Bir Moghrein) and EL277 (Agouyme) in northern Mauritania. I suggest we keep a close eye on Forte Energy as they announce their Bir Moghrein results in coming weeks.

Of further note is the stake that Areva NC Australia Pty Ltd has in Forte. Obviously the region and its prospects hold some significant interest for this subsidiary of the French giant of the same name (Areva). A long bow at the moment but EZE could also attract some significant 'larger player' interest should it be able to follow on the heels of Forte Energy. EZE certainly seems to be worth a wager at these price levels if they do secure these licences?

    Cheers, Muzz

PS: Evidence that this region is really starting to hot up; the Aura Energy website and their prospects in the same region are also worth a look:
