Very interesting to see that Ras al Khaima Gas has taken up the lease completely surrounding KEY's Nyuni discovery . Did RAK Gas own this lease before the KN1 discovery or did they obtain it after KN1? AT the time you unearthed the report of the visit of the Tanzanian oil
ministry officials to Ras al Khaima I did think that
RAK Gas might be doing a little empire building on their own.After all there had been a severe difference of opinion between the AminexKey & the RAK Gas geologists on the wisdom of drilling KN1. Speculation only- considering the historic bonds between Oman/Rasal Khaima and Zanzibar.
The long KEY drought must surely break soon.
