Most products/services show linear growth, and that's what p/e ratios factor in.
But tipping point products and services show exponential growth.
I can't actually recall seeing a listed company that had a product or service that went from 0% market share to close to 100% market share in just a couple of years.
It's a very rare event!
The Ipod is perhaps an example - but I'm not sure of all the details there.
it would be weird if it did happen for CST - to go from about 1.5million tests to 50 million tests in just a couple of years!
i know it sounds most unlikely from a probabiltiy point of view - but what is actually stopping that from happening in reality- apart from some doctor inertia?
