STO talked up the GB bigtime when they bought into ESG and I think they will again in a major way ahead of and when/if they take the rest of ESG. But I'm not sure that a mention in a presentation is "talking it up" or softening up the market (as Yaq sugegsted) .. I'd expect a whole lot more than that! So don't see a lot of releveance of the OIP/GGX merger and an STO takeover of ESG. Seems to me to be important though for ESG to maintain "control" of oip (i.e. resist/hinder any t/o of OIP by another party) to maintain their "acreage" ahead of any move by a predator. And remember OIP's leases are mostly if not almost entirely in the Bowen and Surat basins.
