Yep, what OpTrader said is true, if you look at the ASX Short Selling List and it will confirm that there has been a substantial increase of LGL on the short side; 19.37% of transactions on LGL yesterday were short.
That's a high amount, but also to be fair, compare it with BHP, CBA, ALL and it's still below those. Look forward to seeing the list updated tomorrow, it's useful to keep track of this daily and when you see a lot of shorts (% terms) being opened, the higher the occurrence of a short-covering rally occurring when the market turns positive. It can provide you a good edge in the market sometimes, doesn't always work but every bit of information helps.
