I really don't think the fundamentals are any different, but the market is listening to the believers in a gas glut. They are right of course there is a glut of sub economic gas.
Even in the days when gas was flared to access the associated oil and condensate there were still plenty of companies making money out of gas.
With gas location, infrastructure and the associated economics are so important. AOE doing all the right things imho to access their sweet spots and to add value through smart infrastructure development. But atm Mr Market has a preoccupation with US shale gas even though it is locked away behind formidable barriers and would be unlikely imho to be bought long term anywhere you could even dream of building an LNG plant for anything under USD6/GJ.
As long as AOE can build an LNG plant we"ll be fine imho, however the sp could stay week, until suddenly vampire Goldman etc start feeding the journo's stoies about energy insecurity again.
Just my opinion, my crystal ball pretty cloudy, but I am not selling.
