we are talking about the chalks here .. weston is reported to be an austin chalks well by all jvp partners

and we know there is no natural fractures in the drill (where kowlik did hit natural fractures in the last section of the drilling), so the jvp put a solid liner in weston and cemented the liner in..


anywhere else in texas, in the austin chalks, they use slotted liners, rely in natural fractures and hope the well will produce from the chalks on those natural fractures..

right here the jvp have done a slick water frac on the solid cemented liner in the chalks and got a magnificent result!!

sugarkane is delivering high and low.. low in kennedy and high in weston

this is an ip.. on a 71/2 liner, not a production string.. and with frac water returning as oil&gas stated


sensational result given the way it was drilled and completed and ultimately stimulated..
