My understanding is that they were to construct another processing plant at Mungana to get to 100KT (once base metal prices have improved, which they have) and it would appear likely that the likes of Waterloo and Lionore would be processed at Thalanga. Processing Mungana ore at Thalanga would require trucking over 300kms, which would only be economical for the bonza grade ores.

I understand that the current expectation is that the existing Mungana plant will be converted to Gold, however the business case for a poly plant at Mungana remains unchanged.

My point is they can get alot more out of North Qld through low risk, low capital cost development.
