Lee with port hudson 5 miles away the jewel in the crown of the sands
Port Hudson Field is the crown jewel of the Trend. Since discovery in 1977, the field has produced a staggering 761.3 billion-plus cubic feet of natural gas and 85.8 million-plus barrels of condensate. BP currently operates 13 wells there.
Lee Atocha is located five miles north of BP’s Port Hudson Field which is the best producing field in the trend and contains the HM Brian No.1 well which was drilled by Shell Oil in 1980. Petrophysical analysis has concluded that this well contains over 125 feet of bypassed Tuscaloosa pay sand. With the benefit of hindsight and some 30 years of experience in the Tuscaloosa Trend, experts have indicated that a discovery of this calibre would be completed for production.
Lee while you see rampers I see people excited over a prospect that is re entry drill that Petrophysical analysis has concluded that this well contains 125 feet of pay sand Not rampers telling evryone that there is something down there. While its not a 100% garantee nothing ever is, I just wonder after posting buyer beware for 5 to 6 weeks will you come on and apologize that you where mistaken after gas flows I thinks its only fair, as I have no problem with your comments but think when one is wrong they should be man enough to admit to are you?
