It can still buy back 19 million VRLPA. They have bought back all the VRL they set out to.

Any more thoughts on the price target re: end of buy back period?

Clearly by the fact the they have so easily bought back over 30 million shares, a lot of this was pre arranged.

I still believe VRL are a long term buy however I think there is some short term downside (buying opportunities) in the next few weeks.

Most of us were expecting the shares to fly past $2. Even though a div has been declared, they are still not meeting our expectations.

As the buyback draws closer to an end, there will be more desperate sellers which I believe will force the share price down once they have bought back all the prefs.
