Luckymjohnson advised from memory approx 213m in favour, 10m against with a heck of a lot outstanding.
Interestingly, 2/3rds of about 66m open proxies were *not* held by BBI. Someone had a few votes in their pocket.
I therefore undertook the following analysis:
~ 30% of all BEPPA are for
~ 1.5% against
~ 5.5% in the proxy's pocket - going whichever way?
and ~ 63% outstanding.....
And 75% of votes received needed for the vote to be carried
interestingly the 5.5% in the pocket represents ~ 19% of the votes received.
So if they vote against then 19% + 1.5% getting close to 25% of votes received to defeat the vote.
If the pocket votes go against then this will be very, very close.
Any other insights?
