Interesting looking at the location of that gas blowout well which nobody puts on their maps, and comparing it to the orca interpretation of the KN gas discovery as published in their feb preso (posted on another thread).
Not hard to imagine that the gas field could extend to that 1976 well location or that there may be a gas migration path in from the east of the island (considering KN's lower gas-water contact.
At the very least it is an indication that the eastern side of the island is significantly under-explored.
Pity we are all still in the dark on progress here.
