whats the difference between Ex date and record date?
Ex-date is the date the stock trade ex the entitlemnts as opposed to cum-date which trades including the entitelments. The ex-date for ROY was 16th Oct which means it trades with no entitlements to the rights issue. on 16th ROY changed it is trading code to XR.
Record date is the date when ROYR shares are allocated to holders account whom held ROY at COB on 15th Oct.
