Shadforths are quite vocal about a. fea future; & b. cash from Asia!
On the first, need to see next 1/4 - 1/2 year results to monitor the Saw Mill contribution; I'd have thought that the demand in this important part of the company is steady to high, and cash-flow positive. Given that other portions of the business will ride through, my thinking is perhaps similar to 'Sun Hung's', in that the business will ride through, and generate good returns. Fea as well as many companies, seem to be at the mercy of the financiers, who appear to dictate rather than work through this time.
On the second point, if the $$ comes from somewhere other than Asia, means the company is'nt 'desperate'? Get real Shads! So the Asians forking out to buy Timberlands ~ Almond business (as reported recently in the media), are also in this 'sub-standard' category? These guys (Asians)are looking ahead, and investing accordingly, imo. Well done to them, and again, we may loose further control of our assets. Good luck kids (our next generation); we've sold the farm, but enjoy the fruits while we can.
Cheers :)
