Just wondering if there can shortly be an additional valuation on Key from the market on the basis that it is a producer. Sure it is only 80odd barrells a day which would equate to around $1.5-2m or something like that.
But at least KEY will now have "earnings" from which to get a part valuation (or better one). Interesting year ahead I would say.
If they are wise and reinvest that cashflow solely into increasing production on the UK oil field, then they would reap the rewards within the next 2-3yrs. Lets see if people are patient enough.
Think this was a sound move anyway, to ensure they move to producer status (and hopefully rerated) alot earlier than Italy or Tanzania could provide.
