re: Ann: FUT: FUTURE CORP TO INVEST IN COAL S...
"I am with Woodchips".
Well... that's your life !
"Gazonor was only ever valued on the coal mine methane assets (CMM) and they have had a reserves upgrade and plans are afoot to accelerate extraction gas extraction for use in electricity production. There are further CMM expansion opportunities and the reserves potential of coal bed methane (CBM) are the major upside imo."
- IMO too. There is a lot of potential.
"Lons le Saunier is an extensive asset with CBM, conventional gas and oil targets ... highly prospective on the information I have read, but a lot of work is required. Requires synergistic, experienced partners, which FUT are definitely not."
- I believe that no one will contradict you. Imo, FUT has no place near EGL, whatever the project.
- LLS is a very challenging target but could be extremely rewarding for a small Company. If you ever have the opportunity to look at a map of the permits in France you will notice that it is pretty crowded in Jura. EGL is not the first and will not be the last to be interested in the area. Nota: This remarks about permits is valid too for Lorraine and Gardanne. Gardanne permit is flanked each side by two large applications (Schuepbach and QGC).
"No decision will be made with Lorraine until the Folschviller test well is completed and analysed."
- Just be prepared to learn that testing may not be conclusive. One or several faults have been crossed and this could bring so much water that the well can not be dewatered. If such is the case, the only thing that you can draw, beside a lot of dirty water, is that you must avoid faults in Lorraine, at any cost. Inversely the fault could bring a lot of gas, but it would be rather new in the area. For the sake of your money (and Woodchip's) I hope that the gas case will prevail.
"Gazonor, Lons le Saunier and Lorraine are core projects and at this stage I doubt very much whether they have been offered as farm-ins".
You're absolutely right not to believe the newbies. So, there is an easy way to alleviate your doubts. As a shareholder you are entitled to some informations, aren't you? You can ask EGL if any kind ou farming or JV has been attempted for Lons and/or Gazonor and/or Lorraine. If yes, which companies have been approached, and what the outcome was. After all a farming procedure was done for three of the permits, it is not silly to expect that the same process has been tried for the others. I would understand that EGL does not communicate willingly on that point, but they should answer a direct question from a shareholder on this matter...
Cheers Z
