Aminex rose ¼p to 7.63p amid suggestions in the Square Mile that the oil and gas exploration group was on the verge of doing a deal, involving both an asset swap and cash, to increase its interest in the Nyuni Production Sharing Agreement in Tanzania by 10 per cent, including the sizeable gas discovery at Kiliwani North.
