i am happy to reply to dr spok its good to read a posting that makes objective commentary compared to the rah rah rah.

i accept some of your points, and your comment about equity held by the blackwood group gives me confidence oropa is less likely to fall over in a hurry but i remain unconvinced that its not close to zero in the kitty now. you should note that the chairman has been involved at board level for quite a while and prior to the funding debacle and he holds a hellova lot of shares so your argument isnt completely valid for me. in fact i brought the entire discussion up cos i think that the last qtr was terrible from activities and funds used up. remember it was only late march we approved the $2 mill package and most of it has been burned up already with bugger all to show for it.

as you say we will see soon enough whether these guys dont just dilute the hell out of existing shareholders, i am yet to be convinced they arent close to the brink of a big low priced fund-raising. all other posters reckon that they dont need any cash at present, i reckon they do but they havent done anything to get the price up in the meantime. we will see soon enough who is right about that i guess, or we wont if gazzat is right and they still have funds for close to a year - i think he is very very wrong on this.

your comment about inferred gold is interesting, i understand martabie up the road sold about 6 months ago below the lower end of your stated range and its got a lot of indicated resource to. oropa needs to prove its got better than inferred ozs in ground.
