Yes - but he is not open to feedback from shareholders (sat in an annual meeting about three years ago and watched him laugh off a question from one shareholder regarding director's remuneration). I think he may also be blinkered to some of the metrics of the broader market: very hard to compare a minnow like CIX with others, so that also provides many excuses for the shortfalls in performance ("we are not as big", "we don't have direct", "our reinsurance does not have scale", "our quote share is punitive", "one storm is one storm too many", etc etc).
Will have a think about it and may place a call and see how I go. This guy appears to play his cards very close to his chest so I really doubt it will be successful.
Thanks for the suggestion anyway - has inspired me to do something; just don't know what yet.
SP looking a bit sick: wonder if management are considering a buyback (surely they should think about a floor at NTA around the 26 cents area - hell!, I will buy the whole company myself at that level!).
