from recent trading activity it appears someone is trying to cap the price below 85c while buying up what they can below 85c. however they are having trouble picking up much volume hence the big drop in volume over the last week or so.
looking at the shareholder distribution in the qtr reports for the last 12 months shows a very tight register imo with very few changes in the top 20 and less than 1000 shareholders holding > 90% of the stock.
as a result accumulation at these levels will be difficult. If any agreement with the "major Chinese mining and trading group" occurs it will become impossible.
best case scenario is
1)a buyout of D and C share of the project,
2)an off take agreement for ~ 50% of production
3)an injection of funds for rapid development.
anyone want to take a guess as to the timing and outcome of the discussions?
