Based on my rough calcs, AEZ will need to raise about 45m Euro, or 14.5 cpu Aussie approx to keep their lenders happy in the next twelve months. They may be cornered and do a 5 for 1 SPP to sort things out. Then they'll have about 0.75 cpu earnings approx, so be worth about 7.5 cpu at 10 times after a 5 for 1. So keep cash on the side just in case I think.
If they can avoid the need for an SPP by selling, unit-holders will obviously get a much better return. AEZ is highly leveraged to any recovery in property values if they can delay the day of reckoning.
DYOR, as I have not done much.
I have a tiny position. Good luck to all holders.
