I tend to think that with or without imminent commercialisation the UK venture was a step in the right direction:
1. Taking advantage of a the low industry prices
2. Creating cash flow = avoiding vulnerability = better negotiating position
3. Growth potential
4. Upgrading to a Producer status
I don't think it will distract them from anything.
As for the production license: it's obviously out of their hands, and maybe out of Aminexs hands as well. Could be a bureaucracy issue, or some larger scale adjustments might be happening in the regional industry (Energy contract just signed with Kenya, pipeline, power plant, etc)... Or they might be just playing the bargaining game...
Whatever it is, my gut feeling is telling me that thinks will start moving sooner than we expect, at least by the end of this year. IF that happens, the rights at this price, may appear to be the best accumulation tool for some people IMO !
