Just an extension of the current offer is all they will offer maybe another couple of weeks.

If they do decide to not extend and only gain around 20% which at the moment is all they look like gaining it has been a failure and will only gain them maybe a position on a hostile board and not the outcome they were after.

Hard for the company to announce something if you don't have the results in and I am sure that DIO would have been sweating on these results coming in to make the AVO offer even more unattractive and to entice other suitors further.

At the end of the day one feels that this will make the AVO offer even more unattractive and make an alternative bid more likely.
