Not sure where you get this Albers is an oil guru idea.
Albers is a lawyer who happens to have holdings in a bunch of small oil companies. It is my understanding that he has been selling down his holdings in OIP, ESG and GGX over the last few weeks.
As for Orion having a market cap close to their net asset backing, they aren't Robinson Crusoe in that regard (eg HGO).
Market doesn't reward explorers for cash in the bank. The exploration game is about spending money on good prospective acreage. I don't see OIP having done that to date.
