The majority of DDTs income is currently from the auto industry. The result (back into a loss taking away writedowns) was disappointing but not totally surprising. The auto industry has basically collapsed in the last few months. The last few years has shown the car industry to be very competitive and difficult to gain a stranglehold in.
The ongoing success of DDT relies heavily on them being able to use their excellent technology in alternative industries. There are many other applications for DDTs technology. Do they have the skill to attain new business? That will be the ket to success or failure. I'd be waiting for some signs of future growth before investing in this one.
