Not only TIM shares are currently at the record low price but also other companies including BHP and Banks.
Friday’s TIM big selling was triggered by Margin calls (maybe UBS job as well). As you have noticed each seller was matched with the buyer. Think realistically, if TIM were to be in a miserable position, what would happen to other agribusinesses in which MIS has quite substantial investments? (eg. SHV). In the worst scenario - firstly the associated investments are sold and at the end the core business assets.DYOR
