that's a 40% drop in EBIT - after interest costs but before abnormals I would think the company is running at a loss. It's a bit hard to work it out from the annoucement - maybe they are talking about operating profitably before corporate overheads.
Hopefully there will be some news on that big receivable soon - the longer it goes with no news the worse it could be.
AMA has spent at least 70 million (not all cash) acquiring these businesses and now the market is valuing the company at about 5 million - of course there is now around 30million is debt attached to those businesses.
I think the odds are that they can get things sorted out but there could be some pretty nasty writeoffs/cutbacks in the short term - and they really need to ditch the spin.
