SGL/AGL JOINT VENTURE CONCEPT PLAN APPROVAL
Sydney Gas Ltd advises that the Minister for Planning on 4 September 2008
granted AGL Energy Limited Concept Plan approval, together with Project
approval for the construction and operation of a number of coal seam
methane wells and associated infrastructure within the Spring Farm and
Menangle Park areas of the Camden Gas Project.
The granting of the Project approval for four wells at Spring Farm and 12
wells at Menangle Park will enable an increased production to the Rosalind
Park Gas Plant.
The Joint Venture is currently producing 15.6 TJ on a daily average from
certain areas of Petroleum Production Leases 1, 2, 4 and 5.
AGL Energy Limited is the Operator of the Camden Gas Project in a 50-50
Joint Venture with Sydney Gas Limited.
