1)Wimax is NOT Wifi two different technologys
2)Seven or Engin don't have a market in UK you must be referring to Freshtel
3)Seven don't have spectrum for a national rollout only own spectrum for all Australian major citys so cost would not be that "huge" rumoured to be $300million.
4)On todays price Seven may have payed to much for Engin BUT that was only part fit of the big pic to buy Unwired spectrum at a very low price. Spectrum is alot like land there stop making it and Seven has twice as much spectrum as Telstra. So for a technology we are only just starting to use Mobile broadband,VOiP and content Seven bought a gold mine.
5)The job of a good accountant is to make figures look good, IMO MNF is up for sale before NBN is rolledout. Watch this space
