Succession,
Re: "Whole IT department at destra gone as well today. Only essential staff with systems knowledge left. Cross over with Prime IT department to be introduced"
Whilst it's often good to consolidate resources ...
... last I checked destra wasn't actually owned by Prime. A very large chunk of it perhaps, but not 50% or more.
How can they gut the IT department and use their own?
Please explain (as the redhead used to say)!
Also, it would be a first if they've managed to get rid of most of the staff yet keep the good ones / the people who know how it all works. They're generally the ones that are most in demand elsewhere and the first to leave.
I appreciate all of the information you're posting, and it all sounds great and well, but this part has me at least a little puzzled.
Cheers.
p.s. I work in IT, so for once (where destra is concerned) it is an area that I have some experience in, although nothing media related
p.p.s. I bought some more at 4.2c at the open
