I dont know that anyone can say if the annmnts good or bad Sack unless they have inside info. One can almost be certain that there will be delays in one form or another with the finance side.60 mill doesnt pop from nowhere in this tight credit market.
I think there is a bit too much being read into SL being appointed. We all know that the zinc market is weak and it wont be easy to nail down the rest of the finance.Much will depend on whether the banks are prepared to take the risk on what the analysts are saying about the zinc price and whether the offtake terms are flexible enough so that Aim will have enough margin to pay back the debt.
I'll tell you what though Sack,I'll certainly be doing more research on such a projects logistics costs at what would be perceived the lower end of any margin such a company might make when the price of the commodity they are producing is at its potential lowest, and if the company wont suupply such numbers then one can assume its not that robust.
Its just so damned hard to contemplate a 15-16% grade zinc operation being as marginal as this might be.Dont forget that NPV was post tax but then the fundamentals arnt exactly smiling atm.
