I smell some bullsh1t, mixed-in with some agendas!

Wotif is an "excellent" user friendly travel website, when I went to Europe (8 weeks) I generally got better rates via wotif then any other source and to book is easy. I think I paid 80 pounds to say in a 4 star hotel London and they were going to upgrade me to 5 stars for free, because their were absences. Good luck trying to get a 5 star hotel in London for 80 pounds.

The biggest problem with the site is that you can only go 28 days in advance, some countries like Croatia for instance aren't on there. Any if your staying in a lot of locations with the one city it seems there is double dipping regarding their booking fees (which are still quite small).
Still WTF is better than last minute and plenty other comparable website.

Meh, for those that rang around to validate prices, FFS that's the whole point of the site - so you don't have to do that. And as for the rack rate (it may well be the highest pricethey charge) still the discount price Wotif gives is often lower than the price you'll get if you ring up cold!
