You’re splitting hairs Catgut. The facts are that the Jewish community are up in arms over this. It is they who determine whether this is offensive or not. They have said that it is.
We must apply the same standard to all. Bhamji made an allegation that Mossad were responsible for the murder of 50 people in Christchurch with no proof. Mossad is a Jewish organisation. Therefore the Jews have taken offence. By any standard it is hate speech.
It’s not up to you to say that it isn’t because doing so leaves you open to being accused of hate speech yourself.
