JC,i have foxtel $49 per month,some younger people i know have it only because of sports,others i know like me just have it and they pay for more content.(and imo the foxtel hand control is excellent)
A friend has netflix which she has offered free to me due to netflix policy but i don't like netflix,my ability to search channels is limited due to ADD issues ie foxtel has offered drama free for a month,i don't care haven't even searched which programs it includes..
Honestly i don't try and understand the sector,apparently apple and amazon have ambitions to take on netflix and more.
Streaming seems to be a buz word.
The massive merger between at&t with time warner is all about content.
The at&t jv with their esport partner is all about content.

I do understand content is imperative to a telco,otherwise the telco just provides the connectivity.

So as posted ,whats yr opinion of tls tv?

Also this is another reason y i want tls to get more involved in professional esports,its all about content and the attraction for mobile/nbn customers plus as posted other reasons.ie esports being the fastest growing global /domestic spectator sport ie tls could have best 5g network, best arena then add tsm and tls has the best australian esports content imo.
Telstra must take the blinkers off or replace management.

ps i have no idea what the future is for foxtel,but imo only tls has more important issues/opportunities they are not dealing with.I would guess news corp is more concerned about foxtel.
Sensis and tls health and murud i find more irritating,but clearly u find tls's position in foxtel more annoying.
As posted tls has great potential but current management appear to not understand their competitive advantages like trujillo,apple,google,at&t etc
