This isnt to do with Galaxy, this is simple risk appetite is moving out of equities and into bonds.... Global markets are going to take a correction and have already done so in part. Unfortunately, i am of the belief there is another 5% correction to come

This is a dangerous situation for retail holders as we know the shorters have a problem with closing the massive short position. This is their big opportunity to close cheap and rest assured, they will be targeting retail holders.

The reality however is there is a huge event risk on the horizon. At any moment soon, those short positions may be forced to close. When will that be?

    Triggers:
    1) Galaxy present a quarterly in early april - what will they say about the huge cash they have available? Surely they will address the issue or face a number of analyst questions in the conference call. They wont be able to say they are undecided
    2) SDV is announced. AT was going for end of December, he is now three months overdue. He cannot keep SDV hanging indefinitely and will have to make a decision either going solo or with partner. Heck POSCO has already started to progress the northern acreage. either of these outcomes are favorable as they force the pricing of SDV into the share price

The reality is we are a 762m company with over 400m in cash. Cash cannot be discounted, Even when invested in a project, its value cannot be discounted on day 0. In a correction hold cash! and GXY is cash

As for the future of this company, if there is any doubt, note the shareholders haven't sold
    for example
-AT has 4m shares, he hasn't sold any.
-Institutions have the rest and they haven't sold

so be weary of the situation and unless you need to sell, personally i see no reason to sell on the verge of the company making transaction.
