My belief Lynas is well advanced on planning a far more efficient process route for Mt Weld ore, an extremely specialised task which can only be based on an intimate knowledge of the resource and its variations, plus customer wants & needs.

WES would likely add in the areas of reagent supply, fertiliser production, and most definitely financial muscle, perhaps to the point of developing Swan near term.

Certainly opportunistic bid for a multi faceted long life resource, but one that turns the heat up to max on Delaysia's FDI cred, use it or lose it DrM.
