In 1987 Wesfarmers owned the fertilizer rights to Mt Weld and Carr Boyd Minerals owned the rare earths. I wonder if Westfarmers real target is the phosphate fertilizer at Mt Weld and the rare earths are a bonus rather than the target. A small,but added bonus, is 1.1 million tonnes of fertilizer ready for export at Kuantan. Ausheds your comments will be appreciated.
