Occupier is a meaningless word.

Jordan (itself a fictitious country) occupied the West Bank from 1948 - 1967

Egypt occupied Gaza from 1948 - 1967

No Palestinians, not in Gaza, nor from the West Bank were "crying out" for a national independent Palestinian homeland during that period.

Hamas hates the Palestinian Authority and in return the PA hates Hamas.

Both of them hate the Israelis.

What the PA & Hamas should do is beat the sh*t out of each other until the last man standing, then the winner can have a crack at the Israelis.
