fast forward 10 years and adoption will be massive, I believe Countries will be looking at Crypto for their own currency soon enough.

global debt especially US is highly unsustainable, Govt revenue is lower than interest on outstanding payments.

eventually the US will have to sell assets to cover its debt payments, and US assets can be grouped as such

fossil fuel reserves its biggest asset ( global energy policy in 10 years will wipe these out )

domestic and foreign debt ( if Us has a debt crisis other countries will be shy to take on liabilities)

government owned realestate ( ports, stadiums, hospitals, vacant land etc, alot are currently being sold now by local governments and municipalities to cover upcoming 401k entitlement which is already adding to reduced revenues from rentals)

gold reserves ( US has by far the biggest gold reserves , if the US sells off gold to pay down debt , crypto would explode)

this is only one possible timeline

bottom line fiat is no longer an asset backed instrument

it is a debt instrument and is inflationary crypto has no debt and is deflationary
