"Phase 2 trials are always the "make or break" period. They actually determine whether something actually works."
Whilst that is normally true, our phase 1b trial is unusual as it is also testing if it actually works.
Many phase 1's are just about safety, often tested on healthy volunteers who don't have the illness that the drug is designed for.
So our first "does it work" news comes out in detail in about 10 days, albeit from a small number of subjects.
